A pair of 1940 World Series Cincinnati Reds players celebration photographs. These two photographs depict players in a celebratory mode after defeating the Detroit Tigers in the 1940 World Series. Bucky Walters and Paul Derringer are shown in one photo; the other photo depicts Derringer on the shoulders of his teammates. The 1940s World Championship was the second in the franchise’s illustrious history. Each photograph is matted and framed underneath protective glass. An accompanying letter of authenticity from the Cincinnati Reds Hall of Fame Museum is included.
