A vintage 800 silver figural trinket box by J.D. Schleissner & Söhne of Hanau, Germany. This piece depicts a horse-drawn carriage with two galloping horses and a seated driver in uniform to its front. The carriage trinket box features glass windows, scrolling acanthus motif designs throughout, and a removable roof lid. It is hallmarked to its underside and addtionally marked with an 800 silver fineness mark, a German national reichsmark, and a Buchholz & Zelt importer’s mark.
