Item Details
An antique J.Louis Mitchell Esq. horse hair barristers wig in its original tin, a variety of cotton collars, a wooden hat mold, and various antique letters written in ink in a script hand. The wig features grey horse hair and natural fiber construction and partially retains its makers label to the interior. It is presented with its original black and gilt painted oval tin with latch to the exterior and a wooden two-part hat mold. The collection also includes a variety of white cotton collars, one of which retains its label marked ‘All Cotton Made In Switzerland’; and antique handwritten letters written in black ink.

Condition
- discoloration and disintegration to parts of wig; cracks, scratches and surface wear to wooden form; tin box is crushed and dented, with significant marks and wear; discoloration to paper and collars.
