A large Murano art glass sculpture in an egg form with encased floral forms in crystal titled New Life by Dino Rosin (Italian, b. 1948). Signed to the front of the base.
Dino Rosin was born in Venice, Italy, his family then moved shortly after to the glass blowing mecca of Murano when he was still an infant. At the young age of twelve he was working as an apprentice in a renown glass studio along with several brothers. Dino became a master in the art of ‘cold work’ and used the ancient technique with ‘calcedonia’ glass making each piece unique and highly coveted. His work is shown in exclusive galleries and he was selected to host a one man show at the prestigious
Corning Museum in Corning, New York.
