A janbiya dagger from Yemen. The sheathed Arabian dagger features a curved, thick, double-edge blade with a metal embellished handle and leather sheath. The sheath is embellished tooled and sharply curved, and can be tucked into the thick embroidered belt. The belts usually differ by regions of the country, and are worn by men to show their status and wealth.
