Vintage Ervin H. Sutter Grandfather Clock

Item Details

A grandfather clock by Ervin H. Sutter. This clock has a light finished wood case, a split pediment having an urn finial and turned columns flanking the pendulum door. It has a molded plinth base with carved apron and inlaid detailing with inlaid floral embellishment. The metal, embossed clock face has a gold and silver tone, while displaying black Arabic numerals with decorative reticulated hands. It has three cylindrical brass weights on chains with a floral embossed brass pendulum behind a turned low rail. It is marked with a brass plaque showing the maker’s name.
