Antique Salins "Parakeet" French Majolica with Others

Item Details

A collection of three antique majolica earthenware plates. Included is a plate featuring two parakeets perched on a branch, marked ‘Salins’ to the underside; a scalloped edge off-white textured plate with a blue and brown botanical motif, unmarked; and lastly, a plate with a wave pattern to the border and colorful nature scene with flowers and a perched bird, marked with an impressed heart shaped mark to the underside.

Condition

- parakeet with tight hairline at rim; light stains on white example and crazing on all; chip to the underside edge of off-white with botanical motif.
