A hand-knotted Persian Malayer wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of slate blue, crimson, ivory, walnut, soft red, apricot, taupe, wine, and black. The slate blue hued field begins with a floral themed diamond medallion that coordinates with the spandrels, while featuring an allover herati design. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded floral and bracket border, and meandering guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
