Brass Angelus 8 Day Alarm Clock and Inkwell
Item Details
A vintage brass Angelus 8 day alarm clock and inkwell. The Angelus 8 day alarm clock marked ‘15 Jewels’ and ‘8C417332’ engraved underneath the maker’s mark. On the verso of the base it is impressed with ‘Modele Depose’ and ‘445.’ The inkwell features a brass tray with decorative trim and a glass well that sits securely in the center.

Condition
- surface abrasions overall but heaviest on back of clock.
- pin missing from underside of ink well tray causing the decorative border to be loose.
- light oxidation present on brass.
- pressure sensitive label present at center of ink well tray.
- footing of inkwell is cracked.
