A vintage hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabatai Tabriz room size rug. The rug has a central pendant medallion in navy, cream and red on a bright red field. The edge of the field is defined bye an scalloped border of cerulean and cream with floral arrangements in each of the corners. It is framed with a compound border with a bright red primary band flanked by navy guard bands. It is finished with a natural warp fringe and is unmarked.
