A vintage hand knotted Persian Kashan area rug. The rug has a black central medallion with a white edge on a brick red field filled with floral decoration. The rug is framed with a compound border with a black primary band with floral decoration. One end is finished with a flat woven strip and a natural warp fringe. It is unmarked.
