A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan rug. The rug has a central pendant medallion in navy with a cream colored core on a brick red field with spandrels that mirror the medallion. The field, medallion and spandrels are all filled with dense floral decoration.. The rug is framed with a compound border with a navy floral primary band and multiple guard bands. It is finished with a short natural warp fringe and is unmarked.
