An early twentieth century ‘anti-pain’ device by Challenge. The small machine was once marketed as a device for at-home use to combat pain with electric currents passing through a glass cylinder that attaches to the end of the handle. The device is marked to the side as model number 310.717 and is presented in its original box with the original instruction booklet.
