A vintage hand-knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk runner. The rug has a cream colored diamond shaped central medallion flanked by vases of flowers on a brick red field with dense floral decorations. The rug has ornate scrolling spandrels and is framed with a compound border with floral vine decorations. it is finished with a short natural warp fringe and is unmarked.
