Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, ivory, sky blue, scarlet, pine, and brown-black. The indigo hued field has a diamond pendant medallion enclosed by ivory grounded spandrels, while featuring an allover herati design throughout the elements. Framing the field is a main indigo grounded floral meander, along with a pair of floral meander guard borders, and a laleh abbasi minor border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges with a wool warp fringe to one end, while the other end is bound. It is unlabeled.
