A handwoven and embroidered Caucasian wool runner. This rug has a horizontally striped field rendered in an abrash palette of crimson, denim, saffron, sand, ivory, sepia, and mauve. There are embroidered designs to some of the stripes including motifs of people, diamonds, and sawtooth patterns, along with other geometric symbols. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
