Item Details
A semi-antique handwoven Caucasian Shirvan wool runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of sepia, deep rose, ivory, plum, sapphire, and clementine. The sepia hued field features woven and embroidered striped designs including kochak, diamond, animal head, S or serpent, and other geometric symbols and motifs. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
