A vintage hand-decorated rocking horse. This buckskin horse features glossy pupil eyes, an intricately carved mane, and flaxen horsehair tail. Its hand painted tack presents in a palette of wine, goldenrod, and oatmeal. The horse rests on a red painted wooden plinth above a rocking support with turned braces. The piece does not bear a discernible maker’s mark.

Condition

- minor discoloration, faint indents and surface scratches throughout, front brace is broken, heavy cobweb and dust residue present to underside.
