Item Details
A hand-painted still-life ceramic tile. The tile features an impressionistic style still-life depicting a variety of fruit and vegetables with a woven basket and a bowl on a wood table. The painting is rendered in a muted naturalistic palette of red, violet, orange, and green glaze and is signed ‘Maria ’00’ to the lower right. The tile is presented in a double mat, wood frame with beaded gilt decoration, and under glass. It has a wire to verso for hanging.
