A vintage Chippendale style mahogany dining table with two armchairs and eight side chairs by Maitland-Smith. This set includes a rectangular top table with flame mahogany veneers, curved corners, and two leaf inserts rising on a double pedestal base terminating on sabre legs with brass cap feet and casters. The table includes protective pads. Also includes ten dining chairs with curved and carved crest rail over a decorative, pierced splat above an upholstered seat. The chairs rise on straight legs joined by stretchers. The chairs are marked ‘Maitland-Smith’ and ‘Made in Indonesia’ to the underside.
