Victorian Carved and Upholstered Parlor Sofa

An antique Victorian walnut parlor sofa. The sofa features a three-arch carved rose and scrolled leaf crestrail with scrolled sides, a button-tufted back with a separate, oval shaped upholstered and button tufted center piece. The sofa is upholstered in a wine colored fabric, and it has serpentine back and seat rails with carved foliate decorations. The sofa rests on cabriole legs. There is no maker’s marks.
