A Revivalist style hand-painted mounted porcelain vase on a gilt brass stand, mid to late 19th century. This cylindrical vase depicts the Trojan warrior Hector with a bold cobalt and gilt ‘bubbled’ background, while trimmed with black embossed bands. The vase rests on a gilt finished brass stand with serpentine legs ending in in-turned squares. Two of the legs are attached to double handles with embossed female profile medallions. There are no discernible markings to either the vase or stand.
