Hand-Knotted Pakistani Bokhara Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, black, ivory, and sand. The cranberry colored field features a lattice of Tekke guls, and chemche guls. Framing the field is a main ashik border, along with a series of geometrically designed guard borders, and Tekke patterned elem panels. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool kilim skirt with wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
