A vintage, hand knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk rug. This wool rug features a center medallion with chained pendants on a lozenge-shaped field in a palette of rust, magenta, royal blue, indigo, orange, olive and cream. The field is bounded by spandrels and surrounded by a compound floral border with natural warp cotton fringe to the far ends. The rug is tagged underneath.
