A vintage, hand knotted Persian Karaja Heriz rug. This wool rug features a pair of geometric medallions within lozenges on a rectangular field in a palette of magenta, teal, butterscotch, lavender, olive, gold, indigo and cream. The field is surrounded by a border with geometric and vine motifs, and the far ends have cotton warp fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
