Item Details
An antique T.M. Perot & Co. apothecary scale with two sets of weights. The scale features a balance arm style in brass with two hanging pans, affixed to a wooden base with a single drawer. It is emboss marked ‘T.M. Perot & Co’ to the front below the balance arm and the piece is collapsible and stores within the drawer. The collection also includes a brass weight set in a wooden box; and a silver tone metal weight set stored in a wooden box marked ‘Arthur H. Thomas Co.’
Condition
- scuffs and scratches on weights and scales, and white paint drops on largest box, missing a few weights; oxidation to brass and metal with some verdigris to the drawer knob of the scale base.
