A vintage, hand knotted Persian Karaja Heriz long rug. This wool rug features two crenellated, diamond-shaped central medallions with chained pendants on a rectangular field in a palette of scarlet, crimson, navy, orange, gray and pink. The field is surrounded by a geometric major border within carnation meander minor borders, and the far ends have natural warp cotton fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
