A vintage, hand knotted Persian Isfahan pictorial rug. This wool rug features a rectangular field with a depiction of a horse at its center, flanked by figureheads and accented with depictions of birds, all in a palette of peach, crimson, brown, sky blue and cream. The field is surrounded by an unresolved Shirvan border with cotton warp fringe to the far ends. The rug is tagged underneath.
