A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bijar wool carpet runner. This plush rug features a floral medallion at the center in a palette of cream and dark blue on a bright red field. The field is populated by an all-over pattern of flowers and vines in a matching palette with patterned corner spandrels enclosed by a compound border with fringes at each end. It is not marked.
