A vintage, hand knotted Persian Tabatabaei Tabriz room size rug. This wool rug features a center medallion with chained pendants on a lozenge-shaped field in a palette of scarlet, blues, green, gold, salmon, brown and cream. The field is bounded by spandrels and surrounded by a compound floral border with natural warp fringe to the far ends. The rug is tagged underneath.
