Los Castillo Silver Plate Bird Pitcher Inlaid with Turquoise
Item Details
A vintage Los Castillo silver plate pitcher. Featured is a silver plate pitcher with a swirling ridged design to the exterior, an angled rim, and a graduated reservoir above a footed base. A figural bird inlaid with turquoise perches on the rim and its curving tail serves as the handle. The piece was made in Mexico ca. 1950-70’s and bears an impressed ‘Los Castillo Taxco’ maker’s mark as well as the ‘209’ shape number.
