Mid 19th Century Tri-Color Handwoven Geometric Wool Coverlets
Item Details
A group of two mid 19th century tri-color handwoven wool coverlets. One features a geometric design in a palette of red, cream and blue creating a fancy window pane pattern. The second is made in a palette of light green, cream and black. Both the coverlets are made of three pieces and hand sewn together to include two seams. No visible maker’s marks are present.
