A signed 1977 sculpture of a sailboat regatta, in copper, by the well-listed collaborative metalwork artists known as Curtis Jeré (California/China; 1910 – 2008). The piece is signed to the bottom right, ‘C. Jeré, 1977.’

Curtis Jeré is the collective pen name of two artists, Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. The two artist combined aspects of their names in 1963 to create the unique signature of Curtis Jeré. Their founding goal was to create ‘gallery-quality art for the masses’.
