A group of two mid 19th century handwoven wool coverlets, one designed in the Cat Track & Snail Trail pattern, a geometric design in a palette of light blue and purple, made in three pieces hand sewn together with two seams. The larger coverlet in lavender and ivory is designed in a variation of the Chariot Wheels pattern, made in three pieces hand sewn together with two seams. No visible maker’s marks are present.

Condition
- poor, both show some wear with edge wear, small holes, small repairs and odor from storage. One shows light fading, the other shows more wear with significant fading.
