Item Details
A group of two mid 19th century tri-color handwoven wool coverlets. One is designed in the Whig Rose pattern, a geometric overlapping circular design in a palette of red, olive and cream. The second coverlet is designed in the Kings Flower pattern, in a palette of dark orange, olive green and cream. Both coverlets are made of three pieces and hand sewn together to include two seams. No visible maker’s marks are present.

- has a few small holes, a couple repairs, a few wear spots to the fibers, some stains and moth ball odor from storage.
