Antique Late Victorian Mahogany Wardrobe

Item Details

An antique late Victorian mahogany wardrobe. This rectangular top piece features an arched pediment with applied scroll molding flanking a central bust over two recessed panel cabinet doors. The cabinet doors open to an interior storage space with hooks to the right-facing side. The lower base features two aligned drawers with dovetail joinery, applied molding, and carved scoop handles. This piece terminates on bracket feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.

- discoloration to finish; dust throughout; nicks, scratches, and scuffs throughout; minor staining present.
