A hand colored etching by German artist, Curt Frankenstein (1920-2009) who was a surrealist painter and print-maker. This etching with subtle hand applied watercolors depicts a mother owl embodied with images of her owlets morphing into Frankenstein’s ‘Critics’ . It is signed “Curt Frankenstein” and limited edition number 34/75 by hand in lower right. The piece is presented under mat, glass and set in a wood frame.
