A vintage black painted rocking chair. This Hitchcock style rocking chair features a shaped crest rail with curved ears and a gold tone painted crest from The University of Chicago over a spindle back. The chair includes curved armrests flanking a contoured seat rising on turned legs and terminating on rockers. There are no visible maker’s marks.
