Circa 1920s Vintage Japanese Silk Damask Kimono
Item Details
A circa 1920s vintage Japanese silk damask kimono. The kimono is in a vibrant purple and features wheel and plum blossom pattern damask silk. It is hand decorated with katazome and yuzen resist dyed designs as well as surihaku metallic gold leaf accents. It is lined in red silk and pink silk crepe.
Condition
- small stain, discoloration in areas, fading to surihaku metallic leaf accents.
