Item Details
A semi-antique hand-knotted Turkmen Bokhara wool and goat hair accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of madder red, indigo, wheat, salmon, and walnut. The madder red hued field features a lattice of Tekke guls and chemche guls, while enclosed by a main diamond lattice border to the edges. Also framing the field are arrow guard borders, and medallion guard borders, along with elem panels at each end with diamond lattice design. Finishing this rug are multiple overcast selvedges and a goat hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
