Item Details
A semi-antique handwoven Anatolian wool kilim carpet runner. This flatweave rug is rendered in an abrash palette of madder red, sepia, carnation, burnt orange, wheat, lavender, and silver. The madder red hued field features a pole of hooked diamond medallions, along with a series of hooked and wolf’s mouth elements. Framing the field are two geometrically designed borders with motifs of diamonds, stylized bird heads, and stars. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
