Item Details
An antique hand-knotted Persian Veramin wool and goat hair accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of soft red, walnut, wheat, wine, stone, sapphire, and sepia. The soft red hued field features a design of horizontal bands infilled with serrated diamond forms, along with ram’s horn motifs. Framing the field is a series of three florette borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and bound ends. It is unlabeled.
