A vintage Moorish hardwood tabouret with mother-of-pearl and bone inlay. The frame features an octagonal, dished top above pierced side panels, all of which are intricately inlaid with metal stringing and mother-of-pearl tesserae. In addition to geometric and foliate motifs, the frame is decorated with a series of shallow, relief-carved reserves while the top is edged with strips of inlaid bone.
