Item Details
An antique Victorian serpentine-front chest of drawers with a grained top, mid to late 19th century. The veneered, mahogany and birch case features a grain-painted, serpentine-front top above paneled sides and a stack of four dovetailed, long drawers. The bookmatched and flame-veneered fronts are fitted with brass, bail handles and oval escutcheons before poplar linings. The chest rises on bracket feet centered by a scrolled, front skirt.
