Antique Handmade "Railroad Crossing" Quilt

Item Details

An antique handmade quilt in a variation of a Railroad Crossing pattern. The quilt features rows of touching blocks with crosses to the center constructed from a variety of fabric patterns in a palette of muted blue, tan, brown, purple and red assembled on a red calico field. It is hand stitched and finished with a red print binding, brown printed backing, and no visible maker’s marks.

Condition

- has some stains and odor, a few holes to fabric, may benefit from cleaning; significant fading.
