Vintage Mexican Metal Overlay Wall Mirror

Item Details

A vintage Mexican metal overlay wall mirror. This rectangular mirror features an underlying wood frame overlaid with silver-tone metal, adorned with a mix of nickel, copper, and brass applique relief motifs. It has a curvalinear shaped pediment with a prominent sun at the top. Other applique relief motifs throughout the mirror include mermaids, starfish, shells, fish, and coral shapes painted gold-tone, copper-tone, and bronze-tone. Hanging wire is present to the verso.
