Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Isfahan room size wool rug. The rug features a central round floral medallion in a palette of cobalt, taupe, cream, sage, and garnet on a crimson ground heavily populated with floral and foliate motif decoration. It has decorative corner spandrels and a compound border featuring palmettes and rosettes. The rug is finished with hand overcast selvedges and natural warp fringe to opposite ends. It is not labeled.
