An original acrylic painting on panel by contemporary American artist Steve Keene (New York, born 1957), titled How The West Was Won. The painting depicts a figure on horseback wearing a wide hat, painted in bright colors. Its title is written in large text across the right margin, and the painting is initialed and numbered “6518” to the lower left.
