A sumi-e watercolor painting on paper of birds by Japanese artist Tokuriki Tomikichirō (徳力富吉郎, 1902-2000). Best known for his woodblock prints, this is a charming sumi-e watercolor of birds perched on bamboo. Similar to a work dated 1982 (please see link below). Signed ‘T. Tokuriki’ alongside his red seal ‘徳’.

Condition

- light toning to painting and backing. Several scratches to frame.
