Item Details
A San Ildefonso black on black vessel attributed to Maximiliana ‘Anna’ Montoya (1885-1955), elder sister to the iconic Maria Martinez. The black on black vessel is tapered at rim and base, highly burnished to a high sheen with matte black geometric patterning from the rim. It is signed ‘Anna’ to the underside; the mark is worn.
